Kay Thompson - Countryside & Rural Pursuits Photographer

Kay Thompson is a professional Countryside and Rural Pursuits Photographer based in the Cotswolds.

Kay Thompson Photography was started to enable Kay to share her passion for hunting and rural pursuits through her documentary style of photography. Kay is a regular contributor to Baily's Hunting Directory, The Countryside Alliance and has had numerous images published in The Field and Horse & Hound magazines.

Kay's understanding of the countryside and rural community has stood her in good stead to capture the unique atmosphere of Rural Pursuits. This knowledge and understanding allowed Kay to be one of the Official Photographers at the 2011 CLA Game Fair and more recently been named as a Rural Hero by the Countryside Alliance as part of their 2012 Rural Oscars. This was in recognition to Kay's dedication to hunting and promoting rural life and the countryside.

2015 saw Kay receive a highly commended in the prestigious Leica Fieldsports Photographer of the year competition, which led on to Kay becoming Fieldsports Magazine's Hunting Photographer.

As well as Hunting Photography, Kay also undertakes commissions for shoots, events, portraits, corporate and product photography.
